Red Square is one of the most famous places in the world. It was Built by Ivan III on the twelfth century, and urbanized over the centuries. After the defeat of Napoleon, it became a national pride, and a symbol of the Russian strength. Today, Red Square represents the historical and the political heart of the new Russia.

Russia. it has the 16th Century St.
Basil's Cathedral - one of the most famous pieces of architecture in
the world -, the pyramid of Lenin's Mausoleum -which contains the embalmed body of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, the founder of the Soviet Union-, the GUM department store, Kazan Cathedral, State Historical Museum, the Iberian Gate and the Chapel.
