Taronga Zoo
Taronga Zoo is the city zoo of Sydney, in the New South Wales, Australia. It was officialy opened on October the 7th, 1916, it is located on the shores of Sydney Harbour in the suburb of Mosman. The zoo is managed by the Zoological Parks Board of New South Wales under the trade name "Taronga Conservation Society" which also manages the Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo.

It is divided into eight geographical regions and has over 2600 animals on 21 hectares, making it one of the largest of its kind.

It is the second park where platypus are reproduced and one of the best zoos to visit , if you are visiting Sydney and you love animals, missing Taronga zoo would be a crime.
