The Finger Lakes are a pattern of lakes in the north of the state of New York, in the United States, their long and narrow shapes evoke those of fingers.
The Finger Lakes' origin is ice. Whenever you visit these lakes , you will be amazed by the uniqueness of the landscape and the incredible number of attractions to do. And these so particular lakes are not the only assets of the region, indeed, around the Finger Lakes spreads a wine-growing region of 4 452 hectares, especially producing white wine. Many walking trails are accessible through these more and more well-known vineyards.



The Finger lakes are mainly composed of 7 lakes :


  •  Otisco Lake
  •  Skaneateles Lake
  •  Owasco Lake
  •  Cayuga Lake 
  •  Seneca Lake 
  •  Keuka Lake 
  •  Canandaigua Lake

There are Four other lakes located west of Lake Canandaigua, sometimes called the little Finger Lakes  :
  • Conesus Lake
  • Hemlock Lake
  • Canadice Lake
  • Honeoye Lake

Finally, there are three other lakes located in the east of Otisco Lake :

  • Cazenovia Lake
  • Onondaga Lake
  • Oneida Lake
