Van Gogh MuseumVan Gogh museum is mainly dedicated to the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. It was founded in 1973, on the Museumplein in Amsterdam .

 The museum possesses an  impressive number of Vincent van Gogh works. The collection contains more than 200 pictures, 500 drawings and 800 letters of Vincent van Gogh. The museum also exposes other works of  painters of the XIXe century. 
The library of the museum has more than 24 000 books on Vincent van Gogh and on other artists of the XIXe century. It is situated in the district of Amsterdam Oud-Zuid.
